Going out with a Bang!

It was such a wonderful, blessed year for our family.  Saying goodbye 2009, and bring on 2010!  Cannot wait to see what God has in store for our family in the coming year.

Sick Visit

They both had some tummy issues going on, so we made a trip to the doctor to check things out.

Gifts Galore

My brother, Uncle Keith, came through town and left even more gifts for the kids.  They loved them all!

Opposites Attract

When I look at these two sweet faces, I can't help but think how different they are.

We had such a great time driving around looking at Christmas lights this evening.

Go Lobos!

A special treat to have the Longview Lobos playing in a playoff game here in town.  Grandma and Papa came down to watch, and Grandma so graciously stayed home and babysat the kids so Papa, Jered and I could enjoy the game.  Candy and Matt even joined in on the fun!

Friends, Food, Fellowship...and Furry Ornaments

I couldn't just pick one picture for today!  We spent the morning at The Polnick's home, playing with our friends. Then Jered and I got to enjoy an evening at The Luft's home, celebrating Christmas with our Sunday School class.

Then, I couldn't leave out the "white elephant" gift Jered took to the party.  Y'all, it's a cat tail, a real cat tail!  Yes, he had to surgically remove it recently and then proceeded to save it and attach an ornament top to it.  Neil was so excited to take it home!

Cookies, Cookies, and More Cookies

Again, pretty sad this is my picture for the day, but it sums up my day.  Baking lots of cookies, exchanging them at a super fun cookie exchange party, and then eating lots of cookies!

I {Heart} Ornaments

Pretty pitiful that this is the only picture I got today, but I sure had fun at my Sunday School Ladies Night ornament exchange.  And how fun is this ornament I brought home!

A Rare Glimpse

Because Prancer doesn't get near as many photo ops these days, since we've added a few babies to the family.

Rockin' with the Reindeer

Grandma has a reindeer (as seen next to Parker in the picture) that rocks by itself, all while singing "Grandma got Run Over by a Reindeer."  Parker had a blast rocking right alongside it!

Painting Party

Parker had so much fun at a friend's painting party today.  In a few weeks, we'll have his masterpiece at home to display!

A Few Flurries

So exciting today to experience a teeny bit of snow!

Multi-Colored Hair

This is the ornament Parker made at Mother's Day Out today.  His teachers made sure to tell me they gave him one strand (yarn) of yellow hair and one strand of orange hair since his hair is different colors.  So funny!

One of my absolute favorite sights every day, every Christmas season.

The Cure All

This boy keeps me on my toes {and laughing} most days.  Today he bumped his head on something and insisted he needed a band-aid to help it feel better, nevermind the fact that it was in his hair.

Behind the Scenes

Just a little bit of the work it takes to make the tree and house look so beautiful for Christmas.
