Okay, I was a major slacker {tired} this weekend and didn't take pictures. So here is a picture from one year ago of my little guy. We were watching "The Wheel" and getting ready to go to bed.

Yummy Yogurt

I left Parker to enjoy his yogurt as I made a grilled cheese sandwich. After a few minutes, this is how I found him. You just never know what you're going to get with this little guy!

Windy Day at the Park

We had a fun playgroup this morning at the park. Although it was super windy, Parker didn't seem to mind and couldn't get enough of this slide.

Fashion Faux Pas?

My Mr. Independent decided that he just HAD to wear his boots today. He's got quite the look going on, don't ya think? I wonder where he gets his fashion sense...

Little Monkey

Parker has been quite the climber lately. He has now learned how to climb the more difficult, rope side of the playset in the backyard. He gets very determined and focused once he gets to the top to pull himself up.

This is how Parker's hair frequently looks when he wakes up in the mornings and from his naps.

Parker's New Ride

So for my birthday Jered got me one of those trailers you attach to your bike for kids to ride in. One problem: we have no bikes. Until today! We headed out to get us a few bikes this afternoon and were able to try out all the new gear just before it got dark outside. I see many more family bike rides in our future...and lots of soreness in muscles we didn't even remember we had! Watch out neighborhood, here we come!

Daddy's Little Helper

After Jered tilled our side yard on Friday in preparation to make a vegetable garden, Parker was out helping Daddy pick up grass and rocks today. Parker couldn't have been more proud of himself every time he found a rock.

Just a Swingin'

Since today started Jered's three-day weekend, we got him to tag along to the gym. We get to go there every other Friday for open gym and playtime. The kids always have such a fun time. Parker had an even better day today since Daddy was there with him every step of the way.

Playgroup Craziness

After the craziness that was playgroup today, this is the only picture I was able to snap of the kiddos. It looks like Townlin, Ella, Parker and Tristan were playing with the water hose, but I believe our cat, Mr. Squibb {even though you can't see him}, was the real entertainment.

Pulling Weeds

While playing out in the backyard, I decided to clean up a little by pulling some weeds since we're having playgroup at our house tomorrow. Parker was such a great helper!

Playdate after MDO

After Mother's Day Out we went to our friend, Colton's, house to play with some other playgroup buddies. The kids never nap well at MDO, and they usually won't go to sleep once we get home, so we decided to just make a playdate of the long afternoon.

Doggie Dreamin'

Sweet Chester napping with his head in his food bowl. Guess he wanted to make sure he didn't miss a meal. Still looking for a loving home for the little guy.

Making a Splash

After we went to check out the new walking path in our neighborhood, Daddy and Parker discovered a puddle of water. The perfect place to throw rocks and make a few splashes.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Perhaps my most favorite gift every year is Jered's homemade Valentine card. I always look forward to what it will look like, what it will say and all the time, effort and love Jered puts into making it. This tradition since 2001, our first Valentine's Day together, will never grow old!

Coach J in Action

We traveled down to Austin today and met up with J-Pa and T-Ma so that we could watch Coach J (Uncle Judd) in coaching action. Not the best picture (and pardon Parker's head), but I wanted to get a shot of him "talking" to his boys during a timeout. It was such a good game, and we had a great time!

Ridin' the Mule

Today at playgroup we celebrated Tristan's birthday and Valentine's Day, both 2 days early, and had lots of fun playing with our friends.

Our Pet Project

Chester came in to Jered's clinic Tuesday with a broken leg. The owner didn't want to pay for the leg to be fixed and decided to have him euthanized. I happened to be there having lunch with Jered while all of this was happening. It was very sad. Jered could not bring himself to euthanize a young, perfectly healthy dog with just a broken bone. So he had the owner relinquish their rights and took Chester on as a charity case. Jered stayed after work until 9 p.m. Tuesday evening to get Chester all fixed up. Now we own him. We are currently looking for a sweet, loving home to take Chester. He really is a good dog.

Feeding the Pets

Part of our nightly routine, Parker always helps feed the dogs and cats. He usually makes most of it in the bowl!

Say Cheese

Today Parker was playing with his shapes, as he always does. When he picked up the yellow "smiley face" shape, he looked at me and said "cheese" with this silly smile on his face!

Finally Out of the House

Since Parker and I haven't been out of the house in days, we headed to the mall today with Daddy to eat some Chick-fil-A and play a little.

Pitiful

This picture pretty much sums up how Parker and I have felt all day. Stomach bugs are no fun!!

Sick Day

Contrary to what the picture looks like, Parker has been sick today. It all started last night around 9 p.m. when he woke up crying in a pool of his own throw-up. Poor guy! After a bath and sheet and pj change, he was back to snoozing. Today he hasn't had much of an appetite and about 10 diaper changes, but we're hoping tomorrow will be a little better!

Peek-a-Boo

Parker and I had so much fun playing peek-a-boo tonight. I would run around the bar ahead of him and hide, and as soon as he came around the corner I would jump out and yell "peek-a-boo" much to his delight.

Seven Weeks, Five Days

I realize this picture means nothing to most of you, but this is our little one. Our first doctor visit went great today! I am 7 weeks, 5 days, and my due date is September 17. In case you want to try and figure it out...the baby is up in the top left corner, head tilting down to the left.

Wide Peease

"Wide peease" is what Parker says when he hops in his wagon and wants you to take him on a ride. This is usually a nightly occurrence.

With the weather so gorgeous this weekend, the three of us spent lots of time outside.
